Swiss Made is a seal of origin for Swiss products. Labelling should also serve as a seal of quality for consumers. According to an international study of 2017, "Swiss Made" enjoys a high international reputation. Swiss Made is a valuable brand and is therefore also protected and can only be used by companies whose products are explicitly manufactured in Switzerland.
